Premiering at the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2015, ‘The Practice’ was an immersive theatre piece where participants were subjected to the inner workings of a bizarre modern-day cult. The dark-comedy piece brought willing participants face-to-face with archetypal figures who looked to indoctrinate them into absurd practices and beliefs.
As composer, Giosuè created an original score which was performed live for the full season of performances. The music brief was simple… elevator muzak, theremins, bongos and middle eastern tinges, blending sonic insanity with warm ambience.
